Deja Vu

I had completely forgotten something that started occurring towards the end of my pregnancy with Skyler. Every once and a while, when he would move, I could hear a distinct 'popping' sound. Like a little click of a joint, or something like that. I think I would have forgotten that piece of information forever if it hadn't happened again today when Mason was doing his morning calisthenics. The very same sound. So many things have been different between these two pregnancies, but this little piece of identical really ties them together. Any one else ever have one of these moments?

Happy Anniversary

Happy second anniversary baby, here's to the years we have seen and those yet to come. There are exciting things afoot and so much more in store for us and our little family.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes

Even though we have already passed the mark for MR's one year, there are still moments when I reflect upon all that can change in just a year. For last Mother's day I was not quite a month past delivering the MR and the whole concept of motherhood was still pretty fresh and not quite fully formed. Now a year (and change) into this role I see that although things are not quite as new and frightening as they were then, I still have a lot to learn. Thankfully our mister is kind enough to provide me with lessons. Happy Mother's day ladies!
